Hello again, internet friends. It’s been a little while since my last post. Longer than I anticipated. Actually it hasn’t even been two weeks. That’s not really a long time, but after the daily pace of Blaugust, it feels like longer.
I don’t have any point to make today. I don’t have anything to teach you, or anything neat to show you. It’s just a chat.
The weather is cooler today. Summer is fading fast. It makes me a little sad, especially the way the days are growing shorter. Sunrise and sunset are closing together like jaws.
On the bright side, it’s cool enough now that I can start wearing the new coat I bought over the summer. I think it looks nice.
Exciting times, as you can see…
Blaugust is over now and I don’t have any other writing events coming up soon. NaNoWriMo never was quite my thing, even before it went up in flames. This is a period of the hardest kind of persistence, when you are between goals and must persist simply for the sake of persisting.
I do have some thoughts for real posts bubbling around. Sometimes you just have to write some pointless things to find your points. It’s generally more polite not to publish the pointless part, but I’m not feeling polite today :P
